Good morning.

Does anyone remember the band Fountains of Wayne? Their biggest, maybe only, hit was Stacy's Mom. One of the members of the band was Adam Schlesinger, he died of the coronavirus a few days ago.

I wonder if Total Wine is considered an essential business? When I went there last week I only bought a 6 pack of beer and I didn't buy any when I went grocery shopping yesterday. I'm running low and I need to restock.

I FINALLY LOST IT.

i just went to the store to grab a few things. Some guy had his shopping cart filled up to the top and overflowing with hand sanitizing wipes and those small bottles of sanitizing liquid. There wasn't any left on the shelf. i called him an a$$hole and reminded him that there are others in this world, including the elderly, pregnant woman, sick people that also require these items. I told him that he should be ashamed of himself. He asked if i was finished with my rant as he had to get back to restocking the shelves.

Specs was open yesterday. walked in, grabbed some rum. everyone was well behaved and "social distanced". Alcohol is a serious business and no one wants them shut down.

Well, the plumber and myself managed to sort out what we think was causing the blockage. We had some flash flooding here a while back, and it appears it was sand and debris in a low point in the pipes.

Now these pipes are normally two or three feet below the level of the floor slab and ground.

These are almost five feet down. It is a smallish trench but now it it pouring rain and has done so most of the night.

It's just gone quarter past six in the morning, but I am still too scared to go outside and see what the trench looks like...

I shouldn't talk......This same store (Publix) has these pre-packaged duck breasts that i love. Great on the BBQ. They normally charge about $10 each for them. Late last year, they had them on sale for $3 each (which was an error). My wife picked up 4 or 5 of them. I told her that she should have emptied the shelf. About 2 months ago, they did it again but it said $3 per pound. The packages are just under 1/2 of a pound. I grabbed all they had which was 9 of them, and took a photo of the sign. I went to the check out and the guy said $90 something. I showed him the photo on my phone, and he entered the code on the sign, and said $30 (or there abouts). I told him that it was $3 a pound, and these are a half a pound so it should be half of that. Manager guy came over and re-did it all for half that. I then shared that there is a $1 off coupon on each....i walked out of there with 9 of them for less than $5......LOL....
