Penny I was wondering why the cat had his paw on his nose. I did like 5 loads of laundry last 24 hours.

I'm so sick of cleaning, cooking and doing laundry and dishes 😒. The dogs are starting to get annoyed with me too....Everytime I get out the brushes the big guy assumes the position on his back in the middle of the floor....I'm talking about Beacon not Bryan! 😂.
Confession: I cleaned the washing machine yesterday.... SMH

We're actually kinda lazy today. Have done a few things, but it was a rough work week for all three of us.

Making a quick run to the liquor store, then stopping by our brewery to get some cans to go.

Ordering Mexican food from a local restaurant for dinner.

And laundry...

We just got finished organizing one of the pantry cupboards and the fridge and freezer. And I made Bryan another batch of Pecan Pie Bark...he will take most of it to work to share. Dinner tonight is BBQ Pulled Pork sandwiches and homemade Mac n cheese. (I had the shredded pork in the freezer)

We’re going to beat yesterday’s MSC thread page count at this rate.

I put these together today. Part of my September birthday Gift from the judge and our law clerk.

Welcome to the Calamity Cove Flock. Sorry it’s sideways.

OK, I'll ask.

What is Pecan Pie Bark?

I know what a pecan pie is, and I know what bark is. But I am having issues connecting the two thoughts.

Hi there! The boat ramp I use is in a neighboring town. I never saw it so crowded as today! so much for the stay at home rule.

I wore a mask into the pizza shop today, making the owner giggle.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Today is to be a mixed bag.

We finally have a dry day or two, so I need to get back to trying to sort out the stormwater drain. I hope the hardware store is open today.

Also, and more critically, the espresso machine is playing up. I need to sort that out ASAP.

Hey Rabz! It is a treat that I usually reserve for Christmas! It's super easy to make and it is totally addictive! You use a large cookie sheet (half sheet pan size) I use a silicone baking sheet to line the pan and give the edges a spritz of non stick spray. Then you lay out a tight layer of graham crackers. Then you cook a mixture of butter, sugar and chopped pecans. Let it boil for 3 min, then spread it evenly over the graham crackers. Then pop it in the oven and bake it till it's all golden brown and bubbly. Let it cool completely then break it up into bits and pieces. Store in an air tight container. It is freaking yummy and like crack 😋 But Bryan says don't smoke it, just eat it. And the crumbly bits are awesome on top of vanilla ice cream....let me know if you want the exact measurements for the caramel stuff!

Sounds delish.

Sadly my endocrinologist would frown upon it... Me being diabetic and all :)

A few days ago one of the executive orders the governor issued closed all public access to the beach as well as boat ramps on rivers, lakes and the Intracoastal. They just showed part of a press conference with the police chief on the 6:00 news. He said if anyone chooses to ignore the order their cars and boat trailers will be towed and "good luck getting your boat home."
