Just let me know if he needs me to take any of that off his hands
Can just leave it on your porch & I'll pick it up - no face to face contact needed

Sunday and Monday are my days off, so I guess I'll do some laundry today.  Working from home now, so I don't need as many clean clothes as if I were going in to the call center, but I can't sit here in just my skivvies either.....  what would the pizza delivery gal think?
Wait? What? I can't sit around all day in my "Reg Grundys" (undies)? - No one told me that...

Mellow Mushroom is running a deal, $10 for a large pie. The regular price is $15.50. A large pie is a lot for one person but now I can have cold pizza for breakfast tomorrow.

Had a ceiling fan which the lights went out on. Took the whole stickin thing apart and found that there is a wattage limiter put into ceiling fans since 2007 to restrict using a total wattage of bulbs or more than 190W. Never heard of such. i took the part out, and the lights now work fine but are a tad brighter than what they used to be.

Anybody with any info on it?

Waiting for one of the bulbs to blow.....

We don't have such a restriction here (that I know of) but I would suggest that the limiter is there to prevent the heat from the bulb building up and damaging the fan.

What sort of bulb is it and can you put an LED replacement in? It will run cooler and use less power than say an incandescent bulb.

I was just doing some added result as well. Not sure if it is thermal fuse as well which blows at 130 C. Which is a whole bunch of heat!!!!
i have three 60W LED lights in it. they are shielded away from where the switch is located, and it only has to what appears to be about a 20 gauge wire going to it. If it gets that hot in the assembly, i would think i have other issues than heat from the bulbs....i did have a bulb arch when the lights went out.

I follow a lot of the bars, restaurants and breweries in the area on instagram, and just about all of them will fill up growlers or insulated cups along with the food. Mellow mushroom announces it daily.. 8)
Bars and restaurants here can sell beer and wine to go, no hard liquor, but it has to be in sealed containers so you can't get a draft beer to go. Cans or bottles only. There are a few places that fill growlers in normal times so I guess they'll still do that.
We can get margaritas to go at our local TexMex places. Not sure what else you can get to go.

Of course the wife is not happy......just wants me to replace the whole fan.

She says that anytime something breaks, i either have to fix it, or attempt to fix it until I completely break it beyond repair. :pirate: :pirate: :pirate:

i told her that it is a good reason to drink beer.

I took off last Thu & Fri. Was supposed to have search & rescue training Fri-Sun but all training has been canceled so I took off just cuz. Anyway, been doing A LOT of cleaning/purging. Ya know, stuff that's just been sitting around for a while & needs to be put away or thrown away - 2 trips to the dump so far.
We live in the country so no breweries and only a handful of restaraunts so I've just been cooking at home.

Back to work tomorrow & very thankful to have a job. That being said, our call volume has dropped significantly & they are now cancelling our overtime. I'm usually working quite a bit of ot this time of year to comp my checks so I can use the leave come summer so that is a bummer but I'll make due.

Happy Mon y'all & wash your hands!
Purging.......putting stuff away for PaParrot 😊

No, but they added a bunch of businesses to the non-essential list and those had to close as of 5:00 today.
