Morning, pholks.
Instead of one large pizzagaina we made three small ones and took two around to a couple of neighbors. And it's a beautiful sunny spring day here, there will be a few walks in our future.
Hoping Rabz checks in, that was a scary episode yesterday.
I am here and I am alive and kicking. Thanks for thinking of me
I am a little bummed out. Tim Brooke-Taylor (one of Britain's comedy geniuses and member of The Goodies) has passed away from this dreadful corona virus scourge.
We are truly diminished.

Sooooo. The zoom with the kids went ok. But our son Brandon was unable to join us. Something about a military equipment inventory needing to be done . I guess they didn’t get my note excusing Brandon from that in time. Hopefully he will be home on Tuesday; however his employer may require him to self quarantine since he’s been gone for 6 weeks and is a shift supervisor. Austin’s mommy needs him home too. She’s having a hard time being a single mom to a very active 6 yr old who isn’t even in KG for 2 hrs each day.
I’m scheduled to work tomorrow.....My judges assigned day of the week. At least I get to wear jeans. 12 yrs of employment and my 3rd time to dress “down”. At least I have a job that I love and for which I am extremely grateful!
On my 2nd bottle of champagne/mimosas for the day. Sucks when you live alone.. no pets, no kids, nothing. Really works on your mind sometimes. Dad dropped off Easter dinner that my mom cooked so at least I'm not drinking on an empty stomach. Haha.
Been "binging" Caroline Jones all afternoon. Her voice is good for the soul.
I was able to video chat with all 3 of my girls today, it was nice be able to be "together" with all of them at the same time! I was making the Whoopie Pies, my oldest was making all of her childhood comfort food, the middle one was working the Triage Call Center from home, and the youngest was starting her Easter dinner.
We are done with our dinner and waiting an appropriate amount of time until we break out the Whoopie Pies!
I watched 2 guys that we see at Disney sing from Jason's porch. Found a cigar box of snap shots from 1955+. Omg...I was starting school. So many family photo. Shared some with cousins. Talked to a cousin about at hour laughing. Made dinner.
It was a good day. Not a typical Easter but nice.
Hi there! I broke the distance rule and took my old friend out in my boat. This is the third person I've spent time with in three weeks. He has stayed away from the world for years, so I felt less nervous about it.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.
