We stopped at Wegmans(a high end grocery store) for wine. The state liquor stores are closed and Ohio has all bordering counties off limits to PA residents.

Doc Brown from Back to the Future comes to mind.LIPH wrote: ↑April 14, 2020 7:03 pmI haven't gotten my hair cut in about a month and I don't care enough about how it looks to try and find an amateur to cut it for me. A few years ago the Pelicans did a Back To The Future Night at one of their games. The players wore special jerseys that looked like Doc Brown's lab outfit and they were auctioned off for charity. Instead of just the player's name and number on the back, each jersey had DOC at the top, then the number then the player's name on the bottom. The Pelicans had an outfielder named Kevin Brown that season so his jersey said DOC BROWN. I wanted to bid on his but I guess a lot of other people had the same idea, the starting bid on the jerseys was $75 and when I looked at the bid sheet for his it was already over $200, and he wasn't even a very good player.bodypainter wrote: ↑April 14, 2020 7:21 pmDoc Brown from Back to the Future comes to mind.LIPH wrote: ↑April 14, 2020 7:03 pmI haven't gotten my hair cut in about a month and I don't care enough about how it looks to try and find an amateur to cut it for me. I had that sort of threat in my future. Luckily I have staved it off so far...
I often see an obese diabetic whose a classmate. He ran marathons at one time. I'm envious that this idjit abuses his health and yet sees well enough to drive 50 miles at night.bodypainter wrote: ↑April 14, 2020 4:41 pm We stopped at Wegmans(a high end grocery store) for wine. Sounds like time for bathtub gin and speakeasy's...
Prohibition by stealth?
The rage in spirits seems to be moonshine. My first taste of shine was illegally made. Anyone else taste untaxed alcohol?

I am in Davison, about 10 miles east of Flint. I live near Dr. CoronaMICHIPHIN wrote: ↑April 14, 2020 5:05 pmPM.....what part of Michigan are you in??PetalMel wrote: ↑April 14, 2020 3:33 pm Hiya everyone!
This working from home trying to be productive and link with special ed students and their families is exhausting. I have done about nothing today and I am ready for a nap. It is sunny but cold and windy in Michigan. I would participate in beer:30 but that would require me to get off the couch and go get a beer. I wonder if I can hire a cabana boy to do that......
Take care all and stay safe.
