Re: Picnic Day THURSDAY @ the MSC
Finally feeling normal today! I put fresh sheets on the bed! And I'm having a margarita! I'm planning on going to work tomorrow so I think the scare is over. But the worst part of going through my episode is not knowing what to do and who to call. We're not supposed to inundate the health care system but what if you're really sick? I told my RN daughter my symptoms and she said call your PCP. The recording at the office was if it's an emergency call 911, if not call back during business hours. So I left a message for the doctor on call who called me back and after I gave her my symptoms said to go to urgent care. But I understand the confusion for people...it's really scary Pholks.

I bought my stepdaughter a "welcome" mat that says "Come back with a warrant". A local cop was investigating somethingLIPH wrote: ↑April 23, 2020 3:59 pm They power washed my building today and just finished a little while ago, now I can finally go out without getting soaked. I opened the door to go downstairs to get my mail and doofus that I am, I forgot to bring my WELCOME mat in last night. (As an aside, I don't know why someone as unsociable as I am even bothers having a WELCOME mat. I wonder if anyone sells UNWELCOME mats?) And either my postal person is running late or I didn't get any mail today.
next door to her and she showed it to him. He laughed and took a picture.

Was just reading that the number of cases in my little beach town is at 29, which is unchanged over the last 2 weeks.

I'm so sorry Moog. Unfortunately people will think it's not real or a hoax until they get sick and don't know what to do. It is very real and very scary!

I like that the people out protesting and saying it is all a hoax tend to be covered, head to toe, in PPE and masks.
Why waste money on the PPE and masks if it is all a hoax.
To misquote Bugs Bunny "What a bunch of maroons".

Re: Picnic Day THURSDAY @ the MSC
Well it's mid-afternoon Friday. I've been sitting around waiting on new work since about 8 AM.
I did get some new work "it'll take you a couple of days to do these updates" I was confidently told at 6 AM this morning.
As you may have guessed I delivered it at 8 AM.
It's funny how you can get things done in isolation when everyone just leaves you alone.

I get a kick out of all the Faux News reporters commenting on them and how righteous they all are.... How come all the reporting is done from the safety of their own kitchens or dens? Get out there and mingle with the protesters.... a little thinning of the herd might be a good thing.Rabbitz wrote: I like that the people out protesting and saying it is all a hoax tend to be covered, head to toe, in PPE and masks.
