Picnic Day THURSDAY @ the MSC

Good Morning Everyone!

Today is National Picnic Day.

On April 23rd, National Picnic Day encourages everyone to pack up their lunch and take it outdoors.
There are a variety of ways to take part in a picnic. This meal hearkens back to mid-18th-century al fresco French dining when all you needed was a bottle of wine, a loaf of bread, some cheese and fruit and you could have a party under the sky.

There won't be any picnicking here at Ringville -- it's dark and gloomy and when I got up at 6:30 the heater was running :o

Hope some of you are able to head outside for a picnic.....

Good morning gang. We eat out in the deck attached gazebo, but dragging food to the car for an away feeding is not for us.

We are car picnicking, however. Some restaurant take outs are too far to get the food home warm, so we keep trays in the car and eat the food close to the takeout.

Good morning Linda, Bill, Michi, and hubby. ;)

Don't eat outside - too many bugs and insects flying around. :-?

Glad you're doing better, Tammy!! :o

Off to that work place again.. Have a good day!!

We had a storm with 3 tornadoes that killed several people in 84. My wife worked in the hospital's ICU that night when people were brought in. She has been afraid of tornadoes ever since. We couldn't live where you do, Steve.

We have a severe storm warning too, this is the third one in the last 11 days. No rain or high wind yet but it's so overcast I had to turn the lights on inside.

I'm sitting at the computer scheduling some bill payments with iTunes playing in the background. Respect Yourself by The Staple Singers comes on, a song from 1971. There's a line that fits right in today - put your hand over your mouth when you cough, it'll help the solution.

Closest thing I've had to a picnic in the last year or so has been a cigar and a beer on the beach.
Both illegal where I was. :pirate:
