Yep, no problems, heavy rain and wind but no more damage.

The local cable sports channel had been replaying the final round of the 2006 Stanley Cup playoffs, when the Carolina Hurricanes won their only championship. The 7th game was on last night. With about 5 minutes left in the game they showed a bunch of people in one of the luxury boxes. Kristi Yamaguchi, the Olympic figure skater, was there. The announcer said she was married to Bret Hedican, one of the Hurricanes players. They interviewed him on the ice after the game and he said Kristi had her Olympic medal and now he had something to go with it.

Glad they won, and made it you happy LIPH. You should have called the bookie and put some $$ on it.

I'm not a Hurricanes fan, I only watch their games because it's the only hockey I get to see down here.

Thank you, thank you very much. I'll be here all weekend, don't forget to tip the veal and try your server.
ahhhh, I missed all this silliness
I was going to make a comment about how my daughter likes pigs in a blanket but now after that comment I just can't do it.
It is a gloomy still cold Friday in Michigan. I am soooooo ready for sunny 70 and warmer degree days.

Good afternoon. Around here pigs in a blanket involves ground pork and ham wrapped in fermented cabbage. Mmmmm.
Drove to the post office today and saw a sign in someone's yard. "We don't have coronavirus. We do have girl
scout cookies." Followed by a phone number.

Drove around the neighborhood today for the first time since last weekend, many blue tarped roofs, downed fences and piles of tree limbs by the street. Helluva storm Sunday night.

I am in Davison, about 10 miles east of Flint. Sun came out for a hot second and I was lucky enough to be outside when it happened. It was nice. And now it is back to dreary. Thank goodness it is finally beer thirty. If I didn't have video meetings all afternoon long it would have been beer thirty about 5 hours ago...........

I did get off the couch as I had to go get a headlight bulb for the truck & lunch stuff for the work weekend. Bulb was working on my way in last night but out when I left work
Saw a bright spot in the sky so I decided to switch the bulbs out. Driver side (which is what was out) is easy breezy. Passenger side though

you should have the arm the size of a 10 year old to get down & in there. I'm only a few years older than 10

so I ended up with a few scrapes & probable bruises but it's done for however long til the next time.
Yes, I will have a margarita to celebrate! Cheers!
