Here in Oz it is ANZAC Day. I guess it is like Veteran's Day in the US.

It is usual for many Australians to attend a pre-dawn ceremony and a Dawn Service at their local cenotaph or attend the large services held in many towns and cities.

Sadly this year, these services were not held.

Undeterred, Australians made do. We gathered at the end of our driveways, on our balconies and street corners before dawn. We had candles and radios so we could listen to the service from the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.

We stood and we remembered.

As the national service on the radio started the one minute silence (at 6 AM), a couple of local buglers, in different parts of the valley below us, struck out with the Last Post.

It echoed and it reverberated in the pre-dawn air.

I am not ashamed to say, I shed a few tears.

Looking at the 2020 Explorer ST.
Anyone on here have any knowledge on those?
I had a 2014 Explorer Sport (basically the same thing) for 6 years that I just traded in in February. It was pretty much trouble free for 6 years. The biggest problem I had with it was its size... It was 5" wider than my previous car (2008 Explorer Limited) and would just barely fit in my garage.

Thanks for the info! Wanted to get away from the truck but still need something to pull the ski. It doesn't get parked in the garage, so no issues there  Plus I like the extra's that come with the ST

Ya know, every time you think you get ahead, something comes up.
Car insurance was due today so it was paid but then the gas company came to fill the tank. We're on a random, whenever they decide to fill it plan. They came sooner than normal so it wasn't a horrible hit but damn...

I went to the recycling center earlier this afternoon to get rid of my empties. When I turned the car radio on, I've Seen All Good People by Yes was just ending and From The Beginning by Emerson, Lake and Palmer was the next song. I saw both of those bands in concert - separately, not together - when I was in college. I had strange taste in music when I was young.

Hi there!'

What a wonderful tribute, Rabz!

Andrea, my Rav tows my one ton rig with no issues, even uphill. Downhill, that's a little dodgey, but I have some steep a$$ hills. You would save on the price and getter better mileage, but you'd have to boost your blocker game.

I looked at the Rav's. I don't think it's big enough, on the inside, for us

That's funny! The 2 times I've been down there, I stayed at the Wharf & then on Perdido key. Like I said, I'm not picky but want direct Gulf view/access. Found a few condos I'm looking into west of Gulf shores park.
We are east....towards the good side....between P'Cola and Destin....
