I had the day off today as I had a Video Doctor's appointment. Bryan requested total comfort food for dinner tonight and I was happy to oblige. Hot Shredded Chicken sandwiches and Funeral Potatoes. I will forgo the bun and have my chicken on the plate with the potatoes.
I'm thankful that I'm back to work, but so not looking forward to Mother's Day next week. I'm the only designer who has decided to come back to work, so we will have possibly 3 delivery drivers, me and the boss designing and 1-2 people answering the phone. I know I've said it before, but this will truly be the week from hell. My boss is going to try to get in touch with a designer who retired last fall and see if she is willing to come in to help out.

so the laptop failed me this morning.....an email from the Judge to the IT Dept went something like this. "I can't remotely do my job if Linda can't remotely do hers. Please let her know when she can exchange the current laptop with one that will work".....I didn't get a replacement until 3:30 and I had to drive in, then head to the IT Dept, then sit there for 45 mins while they tried to get the new one set up. But, by 4:00 I was ready to go -- but didn't since the work day was pretty much over by then
I'll be busy tomorrow.

Got my new fence finished today that was damaged during last week's storm. My insurance deductible is $2000 and the fence was $1800, guess I need to lower my deductible.

What's Funeral Potatoes?
Funeral Potatoes is an easy peasy cheesy potato casserole made with frozen hash browns, sour cream and crm of chicken soup all mixed up with grated cheddar cheese. Topped with breadcrumbs and drizzled with melted butter and baked till brown and bubbly! You could add any veggies you want and shredded chicken and it's a great casserole!

Hi there! we got takeout from the local diner to help the owner out. I had chicken parm which was Ok and finished with vegemite on toast, compliments of Rabbitz.

Evening boys and girls.
Beautiful weather day today. Too bad I was only out in it for the drive to/from work.
Today was not a good day at work. A long time patient passed away today. It's NOT covid related. But she was non-responsive around 11:00 am, passed around 1:00. Our hospital was rather subdued for the day.
So watching "Beverly Hills Cop" for the zillionth time for some laughs.

Thanks, Andrea. We're still taking on new patients and assessing their conditions. The hospital is not closed to patients and employees, but no visitors.
