That's funny !!!Saltx3 wrote:
At 12:15am there was a business raided and closed. The owner said a strip place was a restaurant and was essential....oookkkk. Had proper permits but it was shut down. They were social distancing and wearing masks when serving food.
"Waitresses " were also the entertainment. Lol

The business is going to open again at midnight. Owner says he will go to jail. I mean, the biz is "essential"

Of course it's "essential", how else are those girls supposed to pay their medical school tuition?

We normally have Happy Hour Friday's between a few neighbors, rotating each house every week. Haven't had for nearly 2 months now but was just alerted that we are doing so in 43 minutes......social distancing of course....

That is a little surprising, I hope it goes well, but with the US registering 28,000 new cases everyday and well 1,500 deaths each day to an outsider it seems a little premature.lime rickie wrote: ↑May 1, 2020 7:31 am Today is the first day that Maine starts a phased re-opening of our state. The state seems pretty evenly split on the matter. Cold and rainy all day anyway, the weekend will be the first real test since the weather is supposed to be nice. And seasonal activity is definitely picking up earlier than usual. But we're fortunate that it's relatively rural up here.Rabbitz wrote: ↑May 1, 2020 4:49 pmThat is a little surprising, I hope it goes well, but with the US registering 28,000 new cases everyday and well 1,500 deaths each day to an outsider it seems a little premature.lime rickie wrote: ↑May 1, 2020 7:31 am Today is the first day that Maine starts a phased re-opening of our state. It's my dad-gum constitutional right to get a tattoo if I want to... it's right there in the 9th Amendment to the Constitution of these here United States. And if I wanna go show off my new tattoos to the hotties down at the strip club, er I mean restaurant, I'm gonna do jes that.Rabbitz wrote: The cynic in me thinks that it couldn't have something to do with a looming federal election could it?
Someone here in the Upper LH Corner says Washingtonians should be allowed to mingle again, arguing spreading the disease would be a positive development and build immunity. “We can take care of this virus by letting the people catch it,”

The only bright side is we don’t need to go to work. Well except for each Monday when I do. Other than that minor detail we can just drink away.

Restaurants are supposed to reopen here Monday but only outdoor seating with social distancing. I never noticed, I wonder if Hooters has outdoor seating?
