Good afternoon. Cold rainy weather today. Record lows predicted tonight and tomorrow night.
So I'm cooking winter food today. Pork, sauerkraut, and mashed potatoes.

Gray skies and the wind is picking up. Suppose to have a storm blowing in. 89° so guess we need to see what happens.

Here at Chez Rabz it is birthday weekend, Mrs Rabz's birthday is two day before mine.

Unfortunately this year it will be spent packing up the house for renovations that start on Monday.

We would normally go away somewhere nice (Vanuatu, New Caledonia for instance) at this time to celebrate our birthdays, so that is a double blow.

Yesterday, we had a packing container delivered, while delivering it the driver managed to rip down the telephone wires in the street.

So have a good weekend all, and think of me later tonight, crippled and sore from carting furniture and boxes!

I've got about half of a 1.75L of Evan Williams Egg Nog in the beer fridge. I will get into the holiday spirit(s) this weekend and do a little research on this topic.

The governor is allowing restaurants to reopen here May 11 too. They've been open for outdoor dining this week but they can have indoor dining now. Only 50% occupancy, tables have to be 6-8 feet apart and no condiments on tables.
