I finally got a few hours nap. I feel better but allergies are running wild...again.
Looks like rain again today....the rain has been going around us. Maybe we will get some rain today.

I feel for you, Molly. I sleep poorly and can have plans ruined by lack of rest. My poor vision gets worse when tired.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Hi there! On a happy, Buffetty note, we bought Anne a new car with Sirius. We can cruise to RM.

Now, what do I do with her CDs I don't like.

Rav 4. This is her third one. We sat in the deluxe model. The only option that it had I liked was dual temperature control. Her old had a sun roof. She saw that as a waste of money. She choose the one without less options, but it had what she wanted.

I used to sleep anywhere anytime. Then a few years ago I started not sleeping. Now, it is getting worse. Part might be stress of covid. Not sure.
Maybe I should talk to my Dr.

Well it's here.

Friday. End of week 8.

Renovation update:
I've patched holes, I've created moulding for skirting boards by hand, I carried, I've moved stuff to there and back to here. All while working from home and paying builders to do all that stuff.

We got most of the demolition dust out of the main parts of the house we are using.

Then yesterday the painter called. Could he come around early as it is raining and the job he had was an outside one. Finally, I might catch a break! So he turns up to do the prep work, filling sanding and the like.

The house is now totally covered with fine white plaster dust.

As the painter left for the day, having filled and sanded to make it all smooth, SWMBO asks 'can we put in some power outlets here and here?'.

Really, she asked after the patching and sanding?

I. GIVE. UP.

Have a great day/evening/weekend.

Toyota's are good vehicles & as long as she's happy, that's all that matters

My quest is still on going. I know what I want & what I'm willing to pay for it so now it's just a matter of battling with sales people at a couple of dealerships to hopefully get that price. I actually like doing it online as I don't feel the 'in your face' pressure that you get in a dealership. Plus, I don't have to buy it so that takes some pressure off too.
If it's meant to be, it will be.

P.s. a sunroof is a deal breaker for me - I have to have one!

I just got an email that said since I bought a ticket to a show on this year's Buffett tour, I get a free copy of his new CD. I clicked on the link thinking it would let me download the CD. I had to fill out a form with my name and address, they're mailing physical copies of the CD. I wasn't expecting that.

Before I went to law school I worked in banking, the last 7 years in the auto finance division of a few different banks. There are some honorable people in the auto business but for the most part all the bad things you've heard about car salesmen are true.

I got 3 emails & filled out the forms also. I purchased quite a few tickets & it did say there was a CD limit per household so I used 2 other mailing addresses in hopes I'll get CD's for those I purchased tickets for...

I would agree.........but don't take that out on the manufacturer of the sunroof...........car MFG's don't make their own. In many cases, the sunroof MFG supplies the entire roof structure. ...and there are limited of them globally.......Just FYI
