I do agree that there are some honorable people in the industry but they are definitely the minority.
My brother went with me for the test drive. He used to sell motorcycles so he gave me a good idea of what to expect & was helpful with questions I had when the guy was trying to 'sell'.
I understand that is their job & they typically work on a commission but I'm not gonna let them screw me either. I'm not the customer you're gonna take advantage of

I had sunroofs in my last 3 cars, I don't have one anymore. It was part of a special option package that cost $1,995. I didn't need a sunroof that badly.

I think every car I've purchased in the last 20 plus years has had a sunroof except one that has a targa top. I can count the number of times I've opened the sunroofs on one hand.

LIPH wrote: May 14, 2020 5:23 pm I just got an email that said since I bought a ticket to a show on this year's Buffett tour, I get a free copy of his new CD. I clicked on the link thinking it would let me download the CD. I had to fill out a form with my name and address, they're mailing physical copies of the CD. I wasn't expecting that.
I got 3 emails & filled out the forms also. I purchased quite a few tickets & it did say there was a CD limit per household so I used 2 other mailing addresses in hopes I'll get CD's for those I purchased tickets for...
We hadn't purchased concert tix yet, so I will have to buy the CD instead. 😂

We have friends that bought two fully loaded Acadias. When I saw the first one, I remarked that the sun roof can't be used if they put anything on the roof rack. The husband retorted, I'm not putting anything on that roof rack!"
They also complain of not having extra money.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

The local cable sports channel is replaying a baseball playoff game between the Mets and the Braves from 1999. The Mets just brought in a relief pitcher, Pat Mahomes. His son won the Super Bowl a few months ago.

I watched a 1969 Mets world series game. Jerry Koozman pitched at least 8 innings. Today they last 2.

Good evening. :)

I have never owned a car with a sun roof. Too hot in CO for that. And it'd mess up my hair.
And today, E and I have nice short hair again.
After haircuts, we stopped at McDonald's for breakfast sandwiches, and I was very happy.
Then to the grocery store for some needed things.
Home to wait for another flyover for a "Front Line" fundraiser. Old and new planes/jets. Only could see this one in the distance.
Back out to get gas and a car wash, and the car wash was closed. :( Not sure why, cause they've been open. We have so much bird poop on our cars from the damn swallows that it makes us crazy.
Back home again and did 3 loads of laundry. And ran the vacuum cleaner.
Then made burgers and fries for dinner.
Now it's time to wind down from day one of four days off. :D

I've been a Mets fan since I was a little kid, I still lived in NY in 1999 and I knew Patrick Mahomes's father was a major league pitcher. I didn't remember him playing for the Mets.

If you have to wear a mask on a nude beach, does that count as being nude?
