Amen! When you're retired, all days are pretty much the same. The key differences for me are that Saturday and Sunday (typically) are the days that the workin' folk have off and so they are out and adding to traffic on the roads and blocking the aisles at Home Depot all day. And Mondays are the worst because that's garbage/recycling/yard waste day and the damn trucks start coming at 7:30am and wake me up!

Hi there! I did some yard work in some big time heat. I don't think I'd get much done if I lived in the south.

Tomorrow I abuse the distant rule and fish with my buddy Bern and his daughter on a lake halfway between us.

Good evening, boys and girls.. :)

I was awake and going a little early this morning, no time to say hello. I'm usually at work just before 7:00, and today I was there at 6:15. It's one of those every other Monday payroll days. Now have 100+ timecards (yes, from a real timeclock) that I approve online. Many corrections from dimwits who can't remember to clock in/out. Normally I do this on a Monday but 10:00 am Mountain, but because of the holiday I had a deadline of 8:00 am Mountain. No way to finish this in an hour, so my getting there early was the only thing to do. As it was, I was done by 7:45.

Otherwise the day was good, and I got to leave a little early (20 minutes), but I'm good with that. :)

Kevin went to work today (2nd full day since March 19). Now that our county is FINALLY moving to Yellow on June 5, he has a "regular schedule". That being Tuesday & Thursdays from 8:30-5 and Wednesdays from 12:30-5. He and his co-worker are on opposite days because their office is not set up for social distancing. Most of his entire department of 80+ people on 2 floors have been given similar schedules.

I'll work tomorrow and then start back to "normal" on June 1. Probably have the 3' plexiglass cootie protector already sitting on my desk by then since none of our chambers were built for social distancing. HR has already removed all of the chairs from our chambers to keep attorneys from coming in to hang out - although most of them usually had a fairly good reason for being there (it's kind of like being called to the principal's office :) ).
