Good morning BN. Let's hope it's a quiet season and not what is predicted. I'm not in an evacuation zone even for a Cat 5 but I probably wouldn't stick around for it. I'm stocked up on supplies but it will be late July before my home generator is installed.

I understand protesting......but what does breaking into businesses, taking everything, then burning the building to the ground have to do with anything? And now we have all of these celebrities saying that they will pay for the bond to get these people out of jail for doing such. How does this help the situation?

You have 3 different groups involved. First, there are the legitimate protesters, I can accept that. Next are the radical agitators breaking things and setting fires. Then you have those who are getting their Christmas shopping done early.

I'm about to start my exciting day. I have to take a ride to the property management company the HOA uses. They sent the check for my June HOA fee back to me, I forgot to sign it. I'm glad they noticed before they deposited it, I think my bank charges about $35 for a returned check. I've had a checking account for almost 50 years and this is the first time I ever forgot to sign a check. I guess it's true, there's a first time for everything.

In the days of checks, I obsessed over old ladies at the grocery checkout. After their total came up, they would slowly pull out the book and start writing out the check. Time seemed to stand still.
