I don't like the way flip flops look, I don't like that slappy sound they make when you walk and I have enough money to afford real shoes.

Hooray! I finally got a haircut today. Had to stand in line and tipped the barber more than usual.
But now I no longer look like a cross between Albert Einstein and a pro wrestler.

Off to the beach bar to practice for Happy Hour later this afternoon....wearing my normal Sperry's.

As I said, my feet do not like enclosed shoes. Been this way for years, maybe since retirement? We has a principal that made the rule that shoes had to have enclosed heel and toes. Ugh I hated them but didn't have a choice. Also had to wear pantyhose. We could get away with knee highs. Loved them in the Texas heat.

So, back when I started, we had a raised tile floor (all wires & etc were under there) so for safety they said we couldn't wear open toe shoes. Ok, cool, I get it. But we built a new building in 2008 & now have carpet squares. Although folks in the rest of the building can wear open toe shoes (same carpet flooring), we still cannot . Not that I would expect to be able to wear flip flops but I would surely find something other than my boots, that I wear year round, to wear daily

I was watching a rerun of CSI when I got back from donating blood. One of the characters was named Clint Tyree. In Carl Hiaasen's books, isn't Skink's real name Clinton Tyree?

I've been checking my AmEx balance online every couple of days, I had one more refund coming from a cancelled concert. I just found out why I hadn't gotten my refund yet. I got the statement from another credit card in today's mail, I used that card instead of AmEx for one concert so now I have 3 credit cards with credit balances.

The Pelicans must have been planning some pirate themed promotions this year, this is the latest hat.

After watching him give birth to a beach ball at Jones Beach in 2005 (???)....I am terrified........

We have the photo evidence, but are withholding such in the event that legal action is required.....same roll of film from PG, as she dropped her camera while in a stall in the men's room at the same show, and the flash went off.........that will take more than a court document to obtain....
