I'm waiting for the a/c tech to show up and tell me how much it's going to cost to fix my central air. The a/c has been on all day. I was out for a couple of hours enjoying the nice weather and when I got home the indoor temperature was 80. :o I called right away and they told me they could have someone here between 4:00 and 7:00. I hope it's closer to 4:00 than 7:00.

20 Years ago, we would have sent in the BN Troops for that!!! :pirate: :pirate: Just like when the teacher gave PhatMatt (wonder whatever became of that kid) a bad grade on his JB Tailgating experience report...

For those who don't know.....PhatMatt was maybe in 6th or 7th grade, and a young ParrotHead. His mom brought him to a show (can't recall where that was, but maybe it was Indy) to meet all his BN friends. The kid went back and did a report in school sharing the experience, and the teacher gave him like a "C" or something on it. Many of us emailed the teacher......    . Remember me whining about buttons? I ordered buttons to make mask extenders. They were ordered April 21. They came from China...my mistake.
I waited and tracked and tracked. They stopped at LA. No movement at all.
Surprise! They arrived today. Mailing address was Jamaica NY.
I'm so confused.

somewhere in that range.....i moved in 2004 and it was prior to that......i wish i could think of the location, but really thinking it was Indy.......think it was the year of the palm tree being stolen and IUP peeing in the corn field.....not to mention Gumby and Achmed......

The greatest line i ever spoke in my life was that next morning at the Holiday Inn checking out when i told the front desk clerk, "there are two people in my room that i do not know (Zero and Elrod), the room is a mess and the toilet is clogged, but i need to check out". ...

Can you blame them?

You guys seem to be spiralling into some sort of Zombie Apocalypse and your politicians seem to be sucking up to and enabling the prepper type loons who will prompt the breakdown. Then your vast swathes of poor and newly unemployed will need to feed themselves.

There is some justification for fear I would say.

I wish that thread was still alive of stealing the palm tree from there hotel room......it was documented with photos.....took the tree, down the hall, out the fire exit, around the building and crawled into my room thru the window....

an hour later, sitting at the bar with the tree on the next stool, with Becky asking me who was sitting there.....I said, "A tree"......she nearly clocked me in the head...

"SOME" of our politicians are promoting FEAR.....and using this for political gain....and that his what is hurting most...that, and the inaccuracy of the numbers.......

Again, this is not a spot for Political policies or opinions........my two cents have been cashed......
