I'm on staycation till July 27

I go on staycation July 28th

I worked an hour and a half over today. We have 4 funerals tomorrow and 3 of them all have an 11:00 start time, which means they all have to be delivered by 9:00, in 3 different parts of the county. Luckily the largest one doesn't have to be delivered till 3:00 so we will have the morning to get the arrangements for it done, but that doesn't count all the regular daily orders that will continue to come in.
Today it was just me, my boss and 1 delivery driver and we did just over 3000.00.
That is unheard of for this time of the year.
Heading to bed early tonight so I can head back to the shop early tomorrow! At least it's margarita Friday

That looks more like a corn cake, not a fritter.

I love corn fritters - we used to get the best ones at a place called "White Fence Farm" in Illinois and one also in Colorado (it's closed now). My high school boyfriend used to work there, and would bring me leftovers all the time. YUM. The ones that Linda posted are a great representation.

I was going to say what Michi posted was disgusting looking. Linda looked more appetizing. The picture I mean.

I haven't had corn fritters, but I would try them. They look good to me.
