Ahhh. First day back after 2 weeks off. But, another vacation mid august
My 2020 vaca was based around the concerts I had planned to attend. Once they were postponed (and I had new 2021 dates) I took my new leave slips to my supv. After accepting those up to a year in advance (this was in May, he wouldn't take anything after May), he asked if I was going to give back my remaining leave for this year. I answered with uncontrollable laughter as I walked away

Normally we are only allowed to carry over five days. Even with COVID and no one going on vacation, or anywhere, for that matter, Employer has not announced an amended policy or extension or anything. So I've been using mine here and there. It doesn't make sense (to me) to stockpile a ton of PTO. I would only need weeks/months if I were travelling to Europe or Australia or something and that isn't likely happening anytime soon. It's still mentally beneficial to have the time off even if not vacationing or travelling. I'm using mine and plan on carrying over five as usual.

As you know, I'm a summer girl & usually take off for the concerts that I'm going to. Even with no concerts, I'll still enjoy my warm summer/mental health days off. Either at the pool, the beach, the tiki or doing absolutely nothing...it's ALL better than being at work & I still get paid for it so...

Anyone giving odds if baseball will finish the 60 game season? With 11 players in Miami with the virus, it is just a matter of time.

A former student signed with Miami this year. I haven't heard if he is infected.
