I'm watching a show on the first famous English pirate, Francis Drake. I fell in love with wooden ships as a a kid. I could draw this ship when II was 10.
The canvas you are working with doesn't hurt the image at all, either!

The in laws have made it back home safely, but my MIL forgot her purse, but as luck would have it Bryan has an early doctor's appointment in the morning and they live basically on the way to the doctor's office, so he can drop it off on his way. We had a nice visit and a yummy dinner. A good time was had by all.
Back to the grind tomorrow.

Evening everyone.
Went to Somerset Mall today with the keet. This is the "high end" mall about 50 miles from the house where Coach, Luis Vuitton, Gucci, and all that are. They have two malls hooked together by a sky walk similar to what you see in big airports which gets you over the highway that separates them. We spent the majority of our time in the "cheaper" mall where we still scrounged the clearance racks. Sophie got an outfit for the first day of school so that made it worth the drive. She loves a store called "Altar'd States" which focuses on human rights and Christianity. It is a nice store and we always walk out of there feeling empowered and good about spending money there. They support women in need and at risk populations.
Anyway, now it is mid 60's although humid due to the rain we got and needed. This is my second to last Sunday of summer vacation and that always makes me sad. I will whine all next week as I prepare to return to work. Always enjoy it once I get there, but I could totally be retired and stay busy doing nothing all day

The battery in my watch died. I remember when I had the original battery replaced, the jewelry store gave me a warranty. I went looking for it and it's for 5 years. It was installed in March, 2017 so I'm covered. [smilie=gt-happyup.gif]

I do enjoy a nice canvas. I saw an attractive girl in shorts today. All I thought was "Nice surface."

Penny must be happy, the Colorado Avalanche won 2-1. The winning goal was scored with 1/10 of a second left in the game. There was a replay review to make sure time hadn't expired before the puck crossed the goal line and during the review they played Tom Petty's "The Waiting" in the empty arena.

Our school districts are still trying to figure out how they are going to "have" school this year.
