We have a lot more Canada geese than usual this year. One of my neighbors had an interesting theory. People haven't been driving as much the last few months so not as many geese are getting killed on the roads.

Hi kids. SO tired. Didn't fall asleep till late last night (just couldn't get sleepy). Today was crazy at work, as expected, but whew!

Actually got a call from Cameron - with updates and such. Good to talk to him, and he's doing as well, considering.

No geese here, but lots of poopy/nesting birds that have left a mess all over the complex. They have built their nests that aren't supposed to be touched, but they're disgusting. And many buildings (including ours) are gross and we can't open some windows.

Yea the geese are here too. We made it comfortable for them with our parks and man made ponds. They don’t bother to migrate.

Off to watch some mindless TV, pick out clothes for tomorrow, make lunch. G'night.

Storm surge of 4.6 feet, the third highest on record. So far the wind hasn't been too bad and the local weather guy said landfall will probably be just across the state line in North Carolina. I'm riding out the storm with a frosty beverage.
