More rain forecast today.

Sliding door guy is coming this morning to replace the damaged runners and track on the door to the patio. They aren't cheap but it needs to be done and given the amount and the weight of the glass there is no way I am going to do it...

Apparently I start my new secret-squirrel work today.

It's a beautiful sunny day here... I guess I'll have a beer.

I clocked 10.5 hours today, only about 5 arrangements left to do for tomorrow (until we get the usual online orders and last minute calls tomorrow) But then, we have a wedding to get done for an early pickup on Saturday morning. It seems to never end...but I'm thankful for the work and the success of the shop.

Grrr. My laptop is giving me fits,can not post. The phone is tough to deal with.

Well, that's over. My pooter ran an upgrade this morning, so I left till the afternoon. I had issues like posting here and getting adresses with email. I called tech support and it will be awhile for a call back. In frustration i played with it and everything is back'

Wow! I feel like such a slacker after reading this. Are the flower shipments keeping up?

I've only been to the Gulf Shores Hooters once and it was 10 years ago.

My first time here. I think this is the smallest Hooters i have ever been in. Only 9 tables and four bar stools inside. Maybe 6 or 7 tables outside....

Last time I was in Hooters was when I was nursing.

OK. so, sitting in this tiny Hooters.....there is a young gal who is obviously new, and not really sure as to what to do. The other girls are having her take food and drinks out to tables, asking her to bring a to go box, etc.......Poor girl is running her tail off. She is a "small" gal.......

somebody had 4 soda's going out (I am sitting facing the machine) and asked her to take them to the table. She could only carry 3. She got creative and put the 4th right between "the girls", and carried the other 3. The place applauded the effort....

For the most part, but occasionally there is specific products that our suppliers don't have, for instance we haven't been able to get peach colored mini carnations for over a week and this week pink roses are in short supply...no rhyme or reason.
