Good Morning Everyone!

We have never had cats (except for me way back in the late 70's when I had my first apartment and cats were the only animals allowed).
But, apparently, today is National Black Cat day.....

Black Cat Appreciation Day on August 17th aims to dispel all myths surrounding black cats. Additionally, the day shouldn’t be confused with National Black Cat Day.

Superstitions aside, cats are simply adorable, even black ones. These feline creatures in their sleek, black coats may carry an air of mystery. However, most cats do. Along with that, their ability to find mischief or to avoid you equals that of tabbys, cinnamons, gingers, calicos, whites or grays.

Good morning Linda. Our cat is playing as I type. One black cat was my favorite. He would sit on my lap as I painted and drew at my drafting table. Often the tool in hand looked like a toy and he would grab it, making a wonky stroke.

Good morning. I'm not a cat person, no matter what color they are.

On Friday afternoon our President Judge issued yet another (I think it's #7 dealing with COVID) Administrative Order. This one says the Courthouse will remain closed to the public until Oct 31 except for specifically scheduled court proceedings which require the individual to bring the printed scheduling order with them.

It appears that the Ringers will be cancelling their Oct 30 - Nov 4 trip to Sarasota Florida to stay & visit with other BNers .

We had a BIG storm starting about 2am...wind, thunder, rain. I thought for sure there would be damage when the sun came up. So far, so good.
We needed the rain.
