You had a Dark & Stormy? If it wasn't only 6.30AM I'd pour myself one...

There's a brewer in Charleston called Palmetto Brewing. They used to brew a beer for the Mellow Mushroom restaurants in the Charleston area called Can't Harsh My Mellow.

E and I are about to make some homemade peach ice cream. :D Peaches are from Palisade, Colorado. They are SO good. Think Jersey tomatoes. Iowa corn.

Close to 100 degrees AGAIN today. Smoke smell and ash on everything is terrible. :(

But the Avalanche won their playoff series, and they won big all but one game. 8)

Off to the kitchen. :)

E's in charge of this process. We've only made it together once before. But this year we're pureeing the peaches, instead of small chunks. :) I'll save you two scoops if you can get her in the next few hours/days/weeks. (We're making a 'few' quarts) ;)

I tried it, I was in Charleston for a concert a couple of years ago and went to Mellow Mushroom for lunch. It wasn't the best beer I've ever had but if they still make it I'd have it again.

Does he use eggs in the mix?
Just curious, I've had it both with & without & I really can't tell a difference

Drive here and cut my wet grass.
Don't forget to trim the hedges, so the neighbor kid is happy.

This business of working out in the sun is a wonderful thought, except juggling 2 laptops, three monitors and all the other accoutrements is problematic :)

You think that is tough...i was trying to pour a cold beer from the tap while chicken wings were burning (and on fire) on the grille. Not sure what you would have done, but i continued to pour the beer as it took priority....

We don't do this often, and he used a pre-made mix, so no eggs were used. But dang, it's soooo good. :D
