Beer does great when applied to a lawn on cutting through the thatch .....I generally use Natural Light or something worse than such at $9 a case for this, and not a $30 case of good beer. Then again, you don't have a lawn anymore.
i will sit here in the corner, and enjoy my beer and keep to myself...

Hi there! The day highlights were food, pumpkin spice pancakes with bacon for breakfast. A HUGE patty melt, fries and jalapeno poppers was lunch.

Hidey Ho Parrot Heads!
It's Friday lunchtime. Where did the week go?
Freezing weekend ahead, snow down to 600m (1800 ft -ish). We're at 200m so not here but what the press are calling an 'antarctic blob' (FFS are they 12 years old or something?) will bring some chilly winds.
So I plan on splitting so firewood this afternoon in preparation.
Mrs Rabz has a head cold and is torn about getting yet another Covid 19 test as that will mean we are in isolation over the weekend. I know it's the right thing to do but geez this will be the fifth isolation between us and all have been negative. We haven't gone anywhere so I am buggered if I know how we'd have got it.
Oh well time to make some lunch. Ciao.

In my non-solicited opinion? Five negative tests, and you think it's just a cold? It's probably just a cold.
