Marco MONDAY@ the MSC
Good morning BN. The storm was a hurricane yesterday and has been downgraded. Who's getting wet this week?
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Hey Bill!
Good morning BN.
Not sure what our weather holds for today but I know it's humid out there - our sliding door is all fogged up.
Off to work for an easy week - Judge is on vacation.

Mornin BN'ers...
We are getting the outer rain bans from the first storm here on the Gulf Coast....They are building a new house a few lots down, and have the street all filled with dirt so it needs a good washing..

Good Morning Campers!
Glad to hear the 'Cane is being downgraded a bit. Nonetheless, thoughts will be with those in the affected Texas/Louisiana coast area. We could use a gentle rain around these parts...been so dry. Emphasis on the word gentle.
Enjoy your August 24th Gang!

Good early afternoon. It was a beautiful sunny morning, I went grocery shopping and now the sky is black. I didn't have coffee this morning, maybe I'll fire up the coffee pot and get caffeinated.

My Vegas Golden Knights kicked booty in the first game of the second round of the playoffs last night, 5-0, but the game didn't start until almost 10:00 eastern time so I'm tired today. The Islanders play tonight and their game starts at 7:00 so I won't have to stay up late to watch it.

Afternoon BN.
Transported a (real) wood desk for a friend this am. Met her and the seller at the storage place in southern MD. Loaded it up with the help (thankfully) of her kid & then took it to her house about 1.5 hrs away. That b**** was heavy!
I'm calling beer-30!

Re: Marco MONDAY@ the MSC
seems that word on the street is if you have an upcoming court date scheduled and you don't have an attorney you can simply pick one of the following to avoid appearing before the judge:
1. a family member has tested positive for COVID
2. a friend I've been with has tested positive for COVID
3. a co-worker has tested positive for COVID
4. my 3rd cousin's twice removed step-child's uncle has tested positive for COVID
5. my cat/dog/hamster/parakeet/snake/iguana/pot bellied pig/miniature horse/llama/alpaca/etc etc etc has tested positive for COVID
and there you go -- see you in 2 months (or maybe not).......

I suppose it might be better than the swab up your nose technique...

Had SAR training on Sat with 1 of our court deputies. He said the attorneys have figured out the 'right things to say/answers' to tell their clients what answers will get them out of going to court.Saltx3 wrote: ↑August 24, 2020 2:19 pm seems that word on the street is if you have an upcoming court date scheduled and you don't have an attorney you can simply pick one of the following to avoid appearing before the judge:

I was supposed to be going to my 50th high school reunion the second week of September. It was cancelled so I won't be making my triumphant return to the Island of Long.tailgaitingph wrote: ↑August 24, 2020 3:50 pmUmm, just a reminder, I asked for sun & heat while I'm there (2nd week of Sept...)Crazy Navy Flyer wrote: ↑August 24, 2020 9:02 am Marco is far west of us but his rain is here, looks like lots of rain all day.![]()
