Quite a list there Rabz! I could also add a few more to my list of lived and visited, Japan, Caymans, Jamaica, Cancun, Cozumel, Isla Mujeres, Cuba, US and British Virgin Islands, Antigua, Bahamas and a couple others. Would love to visit the South Pacific.

Rabz sure has a list! That would rival JB's list for exotic places. I've never spent time on an island that didn't have hardwood and pine trees.......and creatures.
I spent several nights camping on an island in Quebec to avoid bears when I was young. A few years later, my river island campsite was over un with animals in the night. Worried for my food being robbed by racoons, I desperately shot the flashlight towards the raiders. Up on a stump root jumped a weasel. A family of 10 inch predators were hunting mice. They are really noisy!
I need to get out more.

I am not entirely sure that would be the case. Having a seaplane and mucho dinero opens lots of opportunities that are not available to me (as I have neither ).

That makes your island time more ambitious and well earned.

Good evening BN.
Starting late this afternoon, we got a heavy drizzle/rain for 90 minutes. Not in the mountains where the fires are, but dang it was great. Even had some thunder/lightning to go with it. I don't even care that E and I washed our cars yesterday!
It's now 73 degrees. Our A/C is happy finally tonight.

Well the double hitter was a split. But Astros have 2 days off and the Angels have time to get out of town.
Hoping everyone in the area will be safe. So many people a long the coast are evacuating.
