Good Morning Bill!
I'd love to be on an island right now. Kevin & I have been to Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, and Key West via plane.
All our other island trips were via a big boat.

Good morning Bill and Linda!
I'd be happy to be anywhere else right now. Sigh.
Running a little late, so I'm off to work!

Good morning. Another overcast start to the day with rain in the forecast later.
I lived on an island until I was 60 years old and my last job was on an island for 13 years. Do Long Island and Manhattan count?

Been to City Island for some concerts.
Never been to Three Mile Island but having lived through the melt down of 1979 I'm ok with that.

There's a City Island in NY too, if I remember correctly it's part of the Bronx. I was never there.

Good Morning BN World! August 25th represents Nat'l Kiss & Make Up Day, Nat'l Banana Split Day, Nat'l Secondhand Wardrobe Day, National Whiskey Sour Day & Nat'l Park Service Founders Day. Celebrate whichever works best for you!!
Speaking of Islands, you're forever stranded on a Island. What Island are you choosing & why?

Somehow all those days can be celebrated as one on a good binge. As far as Islands, I don't want to be stranded without a constant flow of books or cigars.

Would be nice. Just call Amazon for deliveries to the Island. Then I can order a boat so I'm no longer stranded.

First off. The way things are going in society these days stranded on an Island might not be a bad thing.
Secondly your boat can only can be as heavy as the Amazon drone can handle..........

GRRRRRR -- Kevin went to purchase a $17 item on our credit card and it was declined (twice). I logged onto our bank account and saw 2 charges totaling $400 to places neither of us has ever heard of.
Called the credit union who said they flagged our account when those 2 "unusual activity" charges hit. They hadn't even had a chance to contact us before we tried to use the cards after the account was flagged. So, the card has been deactivated and we need to wait 5-7 business days for new ones.
Biggest pain is now we need to change all of the automatic payments we have made to our card - which we do because we get 3x cash rewards for every purchase AND the credit union has no card fees.
We'll survive

Good afternoon BNers. I've lived on a few islands over the years, Key West, Puerto Rico, Ft Myers Beach and Pensacola Beach. Loved them all. Guess my favorite would be pre-touristy KW of the 70's.

We were hacked several years ago. Not fun.
