Aftermath FRIDAY@ the MSC
Good morning BN. Laura will soak us this weekend with heavy rain starting soon. Any BNerrs have issues with the storm?
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good morning Bill and all BNers.

Good morning Bill, Linda, and Michi.
Nope, nothing from the storm - but the state needs it desperately. Hundreds of acres burned/on fire here in the mountains.
TGIF - and I'm off to work.

Morning Bill, Linda, Michi, Penny, Deb & BN.
We are supposed to get the leftovers of Laura tomorrow. Don't really need it here so I'd like to send our part to Penny
I have to work this weekend so I hope the storms aren't too bad.
Hope everyone has a happy TGIF!

Good Morning Gang!
Getting a needed soaker today, but supposed to shift out for Sat & Sun.
Trying to plot a mid September getaway. Had been looking at Hocking Hills in Ohio but Cabins are so dang scarce to come by & cost $$$. Focusing back on Northern Michigan but even those are fairly costly & inventory is low.
Sounds like it was bad in Lake Charles but could have been worse. Hoping for speedy recovery for those folks down there!

i spent A LOT of time on Otsego Lake in Gaylord as a kid. I was planning on taking a few days this summer while in Michigan and head up that way. Amongst other things, that plan on got Sh!t canned.

Good morning. It's supposed to be in the low 90s with a heat index between 100-105. I haven't done laundry since Sunday so I think I'll do laundry, drink coffee and stay inside in air conditioned comfort.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

I'm glad I don't play golf anymore, I don't have to worry about this.

My "hot spot" since I was a kid has pretty much been the Northwest corner of the Lower Peninsula....Frankfort/Beulah/Sleeping Bear Dunes/Traverse City.
We did camp at Otsego Lake a couple times though as a kid.
Seems like everytime we drove past Call of The Wild we'd stop.

I can recall back when they had a tall Paul Bunyon in downtown.
i am going to assume that the Big Buck Brewery is probably no longer there as the one on I-75 down by Pontiac closed some years back.

Afternoon BNers
Nothing going on here...as usual. Hoping no more rolling black outs. We didn't have any trouble but some locals were without a/c 8+ hours. Ugh

Re: Aftermath FRIDAY@ the MSC
Good afternoon. On July 3 I installed a new battery in my car. This morning I popped the
hood on my car to check the oil. Sitting on top of my radiator cap was the flashlight that I
have been looking for the last 56 days. I've put hundreds of miles on my car since July 3 and
the flashlight was there the whole time. I had used it to check where the bracket that holds
the battery in place hooked up to the car. One of those times when you feel happy and stupid
at the same time.
