Good Morning everyone!
Crisp fall-type morning here at Ringville. I like it.
Protesters in Lancaster City started back up around 6 pm yesterday

How many doors were open this morning???
Morning BNers
Another almost sleepless night. I slept about an hour, then woke up sneezing. I have been trying to sleep but no luck with the continued sneezing and icky nose. Ugh.
Oh well. Need to be up early for the exterminator.
Michi and CNF, please be safe. ❤❤❤...and anyone else in Sally's path.

I opened the front door not knowing that at the same time Salty was coming in the back, and BP was using the rare side door.
they just updated that the storm is predicted to come right up the Mobile Bay....the back end of the bay where I-10 crosses is extremely shallow and a major storm surge could very well take out the bay way.....

No doors for me... I came up from the basement.
Only a minute to say good morning, and hope Sally behaves herself.
Off to work.

They just did a story on the Today show. Sally sure is moving slow. Now she might landfall by Thursday??

Yikes. This area had one that backed up. Can't remember which one but it caused so much flooding. So dangerous.

Hurricane Harvey.....
I was on a cruise out of Galveston during that. We went back to Galveston and the port was closed so we sailed to Miami. Got a few extra days of vacation in, but my car was in Galveston. In a ground lot no less.

Good morning BN. Windows all have hurricane shutters on, kinda dark in here. I think the rain will be our biggest concern, latest guess is 12 to 18 inches.

OK....massive down pour just began. My lightening detector app on my phone is set to 5 miles, and is now going crazy.

I wish we could take about half the wind and rain you guys are getting and direct it up here. Amazing wind patterns:

If you scroll in on the west coast, you'll see that we have virtually no wind, just the normal downdrafts on the Cascades.
Wish we could blow some of the smoke away.

Can't. It's a 360 degree angle covering the entire northern continent.
