It's Beta Tues in the MSC

Morning BNers

I know it is still really early but so far our part of Texas has got very little from TS Beta. Port O'Connor got the brunt of it. It showered off and on Mon here but nothing big.
However Beta is suppose to turn and head toward Houston today. We know Houston floods quickly so we will see what happens when daylight hits.

Good Morning Molly.....we've ever lived through these types of weather conditions except for the remnants of a few hurricane here and there (and by that I mean during my 60 years). Wishing you safety....

Hello Everyone! Off to work soon. We are still dealing with the behavior of the recent protesters whose actions made national news 2 weeks ago....ugh.

On the bright side Kevin & I have eye appointments (amazing how this type of activity is now our highlight) this afternoon and we will be spending time with the 9 yr old grandson later today until dinner time tomorrow. We are sharing "custody" this week with his other grandparents and our daughter & her husband travel north up the east coast for their 3rd yr anniversary which was in May.

Good morning Linda, Molly, Bill, Deb, and Michi!

Good thoughts to the Houston area. :( Michi? I'll take a cup of coffee, and then a large adult beverage. I had my first, and probably only, cup of Starbucks pumpkin spice coffee last week - treat from a friend. I love that stuff. Only time I get coffee from Starbucks.

Sunny and mid 80's today. And I'm off to that work place to clean up the mess of the time clock not working. :-?

Happy first day of Fall!! :)

Good morning. Third morning in a row with temperatures in the 50s, if this keeps up I'll have to start wearing pants again.

It's my day off so I slept in a bit and now I'm getting ready to make a dreaded trip to Walmart for a prescription and a couple of other things. It's another chilly but beautiful day here so I will be making a pot of Loaded Potato Soup for dinner. Have a great day Pholks!

Good morning. Last night my grand daughter and I watched the International Space Station fly over.
It looked like a bright white object moving across the sky really fast. I had all the info as to where it
would be and what time and we had a perfect view. A nice grandpa/grand daughter moment.
This morning I scraped frost off my car window. :pirate:

Anyone know much about Google Earth? I'm wondering if I can get a view of my marina from a satellite.

Morning again

Parts of Houston area is a mess. Mostly south Houston. Too much rain and too much concrete. Of course people tried driving into the flooded streets. Bayous are also over flowing.

It rained here most of the night, or at least the part I was awake. Nothing bad, just constant gentle rain. We needed the rain. Looks like Beta will be hanging around until tomorrow some time.

I am glad Beta never made it to a hurricane.

That's what I thought. Been too cloudy for a week for a satellite to get any pics also.
