Black Bike Week is Memorial Day weekend. This year they had it Labor Day weekend instead. I stayed home that weekend.

Memorial Day around here is something that you want to keep away from as well...

The heat/cooling system when down in our building. it is a lovely 82 degrees in here. It is currently 72 outside. I'm tempted to go outside and work. I feel like I'm in a freaking sauna.

Since I was talking to myself yesterday in the cafe, I hope today is better.

Overcast and windy . They said a cool front is coming...it was in the 90s yesterday.


Best I can tell, the Astros are starting the playoffs in Minn. Maybe it will be cooler??

I may give up on all sports.

I doubt it. But sports might give up on me. As much as I love the 'Stros, I don't see them doing well in the playoffs. Hoping I'm wrong.

Yeah, I've witnessed a piece of both Bike Week's as we've done earlier in May & run into Memorial Day weekend before as well. Did a lot of beach time on those trips.... I prefer the post Labor Day trips we've done as the crowds dwindle immensely, although Uncle Hurricane caused us to cancel & detour one year to Denver & hit some brewpubs with Ron & Penney!

Today is Drink Beer Day. I went to World Of Beer for lunch and drank 2 beers.

Sitting in the Sky Club at the ATL airport. Logged into the Sky Club internet......

Tried to make a post and it said that the "IP address was blocked due to inappropriate behavior", or something like that........logged into my "hot spot" on my phone and was able to get through......you think Julian was here??
