There's a formula. If you call and want a 60.00 flower arrangement, designers choice ( meaning not a picture from a website) ...bright colors or fall colors etc for delivery in town Mt. Vernon. The delivery charge is 5.00. So your total is going to be 60.00 + tax + 5.00. The first thing I will do is determine what vase we are going to use. Let's say I choose a 7.00 vase, so we are down to 53.00. Then I take off 7% labor, so now I have 37.10 for greens and flowers and I choose the freshest blooms that fit your order and I create a custom design for the recipient. At my shop, carnations are 1.25 each, Roses are 3.00 each, daisies/ mum's are 2.00 a stem ( with multiple blooms on each stem) lilies are 5.00 and the list goes on and on....
Soo you're a pricey girl?
Well, I'm NOT a cheap date....if you get my drift!

That's why you're my kinda girl! And, if we ever meet, we'll be phriends

Just heard from Kevin McMullin. He finally got home with dented car/trailer/parts. He is fine but very sore. The Safety team checked him and no damage from the wreck.. Thank goodness for all the safety equipment he wears, in the car and on the track.

Great news, I missed the drags over the weekend also.

Very glad to hear this!!!
I've never jumped out of a helicopter, plane, or out of a burning/speeding car.

Never made any floral arrangements, except for the ones where Cameron brings me from the floral department at the grocery store.
VERY long day at work. Had 6 new hires today, which means lots of paperwork, data entry, and copies made. Very strange group. Anything from going to the wrong place for their drug screen, can't find the location, forgot or just didn't bring documentation required, one had to leave orientation early, one said she can't lift the minimum weight (how does one become an RN when you can lift 50+ pounds?)
So I'm off to catch up emails and some bills and a TV show called "Restoring Galveston", which I love.
G'night.

Kev was at Beech Bend.
If you can find the nhra race in St Louis, there were too many wadded up, shredded cars. Too expensive.

I say all the odd numbered cars go clockwise, and the even numbers go counter-clockwise.........now you have some entertainment....
Remember when "Wide World of Sports" used to show 'Figure-8' racing and demolition derbies from a track in North Islip, NY?Β Β Now
THAT was entertainment.....
And it had at least as much action as we have nowadays in these follow-the-leader events where the races are won or lost in the wind tunnels where they custom-design and tweak these "stock cars".

Different types of racing is like apples and oranges....nothing alike.
