Sausage Pizza SUNDAY @ the MSC

Good morning everyone.

I’m the first of the 4 “beach girls” to be awake. There was lots of wine and vodka last night.

Today is National Sausage Pizza day.

Food lovers across the country enjoy National Sausage Pizza Day on October 11th each year. Whether served on a thin or thick crust, sausage pizza goes well with other toppings, too. Don’t hesitate to add mushrooms and a variety of cheeses. What’s even better about sausage pizza are the different kinds of sausage to choose from.

What’s your favorite pizza topping ?

Morning, peeps. I love pretty much any kind of toppings on pizza but it has to be on a really thin crust. [smilie=yum.gif]

Quiet day in store, catching up on work paperwork and watching some football. And our most recent visitors brought us some real bagels from NYC so Mr. Lime is doing them up with lox and cream cheese, and breakfast salad, aka Bloody Marys. :D

Have a wonderful Sunday, y'all!

Had my coffee and going to finish up the chores around here while Bryan is making a quick trip to the grocery. Then we're off to the in laws to have a quick visit with his sister and brother in law who are in town from NC. Then we're actually going out to dinner at our favorite mexican place in Columbus. Have a good day!

Good morning gang. Mushrooms are my favorite topping with ham being least and last chosen. I enjoy anchovies, but need to supply my own at the bar where we eat pizza.

Morning, BN. Sausage pizza is not one of my favorites. I do like sausage. I like pizza. Just not in that combo.

If I'm not too lazy, I think I'll get a few Sicilians slices. I haven't had those in so many years.

Good morning!

Pepperoni is my first choice. Sausage is second. Combination of those two is my third. And I'll occasionally add black/green olives. But that's ALL I'll have on a pizza. E is the same. And no damn (sweet) fruit!! :D

Off to window visit with Mom, then some lunch and back home.

Good almost afternoon. I wasn't planning on doing laundry today but it's overcast and there's rain in the forecast so it's a laundry and coffee day.

I'm an old school pizza person - thin crust, sauce, cheese. If I put any toppings on it, only pepperoni. And if you have to eat it with a knife and fork you should find another name for it because that $h!t ain't pizza.

I too like thin crust pizza but also like Chicago style deep dish pizza that I eat with a knife and fork. I don't eat $h!t and don't know anybody who does. Just because you don't like it, that doesn't make it $h!t. To each his own.

The very first time I cooked for Bryan (when were dating in high school) I made him a semi homemade pepperoni mushroom pizza and I made peanut butter bars for dessert. It was semi homemade because I used a crust mix. I have since been fairly successful in making a scratch thin crust. Depending on what I have on hand our pizza could include pepperoni, sausage, bacon, mushrooms, green pepper, onion, jalapeno, or banana peppers. Any combination of those work for us. No pineapple or fish for us.
There have been years on the anniversary of when we started "going together" that I will make him a pepperoni mushroom pizza and peanut butter bars....

Afternoon BNers

Pizza?
Yes please. My guys eat beef, onions, mushrooms, jalapenos on their pizza. I usually eat pepperoni and sometimes add banana peppers. Yes. We order 2 pizza. Lol
I used to only eat cheese pizza. Guess I expanded with pepperoni. 😁

Gotta wait until 6:30 for the next Astro game. Yikes!

I agree with Larry on the no knife and fork thing.

Yes to thin and mushroom or pepperoni or plain or white (no ricotta cheese, please).

I like pepperoni on my pizza. Also mushrooms. And bacon. Everything's better with bacon. :pirate:
