These pictures were taken by a good friend and my sister. They live in different directions from us, and we all are about 50-100 miles from several of the many fires burning. Hoping for some actual snow this weekend and much colder temperatures.

Yeah, I agree, the pictures ARE cool, just wish we didn't have them. If I were to guess based on news reports from the last several months, fires have burned over a half a million acres in Colorado. And since we've not had any thunderstorms in months, I have to think most of them have to be man caused.

Talked to men working on water today.
What was said yesterday and what was said today were totally different. Anyway, they are working underground on the deteriorating sewer system. They will be back tomorrow to finish up. And yes, our water is fine to use.
