Not much on our weekend schedule so we "reserved" 2 seats for church on Saturday evening. This will be the first time we'll be in the building since Mid-March. We attending a few Saturday night parking lot services and then moved to watching the live stream on Sunday mornings. That's OK but it's just not the same -- we need to see people (if even its not the "whole" person )
I'll be back in the basement slapping together more wine cork projects -- this time santa hats & snowflakes.
Evening, all. TGIF! Really cold and grey here, supposed to get snow, or where we are probably more sleet instead.
The Halloween parade through town is cancelled because of COVID but apparently kids can still trick or treat tomorrow. Between that and the weather who knows if any actually will. We're ready with individually bagged treats. I hope we get at least a few, I enjoy the costumes.
You only have two options - havin' fun or freakin' out...

Look at Martha Stewart over here. The snowflakes sound cute.

It's Halloween Dress Up Weekend at Hooters. Guess where I went for lunch?
Any good costumes?
I think the bartender was supposed to be a scarecrow, she was wearing overalls with straw hanging out of all the pockets. One girl was wearing a leopard skin costume, another one was the Statue of Liberty. There was one wearing a short white skirt, sleeveless pink top and a pink baseball cap. I don't know what she was supposed to be but she looked pretty good.

Happy Friday! The floor in the bedroom will be completed today. The house is a total wreck and I'm working today and tomorrow so it's going to be a mess for awhile I'm afraid. We slept in one of the spare rooms upstairs, I took a sleeping pill and actually got a decent night's sleep but poor Bryan said it was a long sleepless night for him. We still have the grand pugs so it's still crazy with the 4 dogs....not sure when daughter will be ready for them to go home soon I hope!
Looking for suggestions on best mops/cleaning products for laminate flooring. Anyone?
Enjoy your visitorless day Michi!
Tammy, I have a Bissell SpinWave that I love. It comes with two washable pads and I bought 3 more sets of pads for washing, rotating, etc.
Thanks for the recommendation, I'll definitely check it out!
The floors are done, yay! I'm so surprised that both rooms were completed in 3 days! Tomorrow after work, I will be settled in to watch my Buckeyes beat Penn State! No house work will be done until Sunday! Hopefully we can take the pugs home to our daughter this weekend as well! She is doing better each day
