Here in PA we are under a microscope as one of few "swing" states. Both candidates (and their family members) have been stomping all over the state in the last 7 days.

Kevin & I got to our polling place (a local church) at 6:45. We were about 10th in the outside line but they had opened the doors early and about 20 were already lined up (6 ft apart) in the hallway. Once the polling room doors opened we were out in 15 minutes. I thought I would be late getting to work but ended up having time to drive through DD for an xlarge coffee and was still in Chambers by 8:05.

We are hoping for quiet this evening but we've have quite a bit of riots and protesting in the past 6 months (some attracting national attention) so who knows........

I hate to ask, but as I am on a self-enforced media blackout I must:

Has Civil War 2.0 started yet?

Has anyone ever noticed that civil wars aren't all that civil?

Hi there! I was heading north an hour from home when my cruise quit working. Two lights were on showing check engine light and 4 wheel drive(which I rarely use). I drove home. The Toyota dealer is 22 miles south of home, but down the road is a garage that we use a lot. Since the car was was driving alright, ! could keep driving till he can see it next week. whew......
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

It's overblown fear. It happens in a society that throws science and reason out the window.

I get that but has the shooting started (apart from Yosemite Sam style which cartoons lead me to believe happens all the time anyway)?

Good afternoon all. Been busy. Last night the plumber and I hauled the very heavy rooter machine In and out of his van
and up the hill to my stepdaughter's house. Her sewer line was clogged with roots and had overflowed into her bathroom.
It was night time and it was cold out. Today I took my 86 year old mom grocery shopping and then took her to stand in
line to vote. I also made a big pot of chili and put some cornbread in the oven. :pirate:

Also we have a small noisy group that likes to burn and loot when things don't go as they like.

Actually, in the state where I live, it's difficult to buy ammo. Not much on the shelves these days.

Polls don't close until 8pm which means there's 3 more hours to go after ours in PA close. The havoc from the east coast after 8pm could impact those on the west coast that haven't yet been to the polls. I just wish no one would report anything until every single polling place is closed.

When we lived in Oklahoma, the saying was
Vote early and vote often.

But that was back in the day when dead people often voted.
