Our membership had been dwindling, then covid and cancer took more members off the rolls. We formerly disbanded, but several will still help on some volunteering in the club's name. I like to count things, figured in thirty years we made 26,000 subs for fund raising. We also grilled several thousand chickens for a summer festival.

Ironically, I don't bring food to tail gating.
Damn Bill that's rough. I'm kind of going to be in a similar spot on Christmas eve. For 35 years I've been dropping off presents
for the newborns at the local hospital. I figure with covid-19 they probably won't let me in this year.
As for not bringing food, Bill, you don't ever have to worry. You bring so much joy to tailgating that you're gonna get fed. :pirate:

Oh man. This is so sad. We know how much that club meant to you and Anne. Thank you for taking so much time and energy to serve others.
Thanks Linda.

   Sorry to hear that, Bill.
Thanks, Penny. There is a sense of relief now that it's over.
