I wish ours was automatic...bodypainter wrote: ↑November 16, 2020 5:50 pmYoubetcha! I wish I had shelled out for the big automatic generator. I have to throw switches on the generator, garage and in the house before bed.
Even when I move to a warm climate, that will be my 1st purchase!lime rickie wrote: ↑November 16, 2020 6:52 pm The generator was the first (and best) purchase we made when we moved up here full time. It was on all last night and then on and off most of the morning. Crazy winds, lots of branches down and folks farther out of town still without power. Internet was out for a while, too.
Now we're just hanging by the fire waiting for leftover lasagna to heat up. We'll clean up the yard tomorrow.
For two hours tonight. But I was outside when I was talking to him for 2 minutes.. But his entire squad was exposed to him last two nights.tailgaitingph wrote: ↑November 16, 2020 7:28 pmUgh! Did you work closely with him/her?
More importantly, how are you going to handle this as President?
Very heavy winds. I heard 70mph gusts. Many back roads had trees across them.tailgaitingph wrote: ↑November 16, 2020 6:21 pmYikes! NOT in the minority with us.tailgaitingph wrote: ↑November 16, 2020 5:47 pm I know I'm probably in the minority but, if you have a compromised immunity or are too concerned to travel, then don't. But don't look down at the rest of us who either have to or want to. There's plenty of us that are ok with traveling and many more who depend on their jobs & income that come with travel. Including those in the travel destination/vaca places.
Most of those 'new cases' aren't even showing any symptoms. And while 'new cases' are from more testing, the death rate is decreasing by huge numbers.
Glad you're safe there tho, Bill!lime rickie wrote: ↑November 16, 2020 6:52 pm The generator was the first (and best) purchase we made when we moved up here full time. No in person High School or College classes as well as High School sports. Some schools are going virtual for elementary & middle school/Junior high school as well. Bowling alleys, movie theatres, arcades, casinos, shut down as well. Remote work is required if possible for employees.
