Morning All and Sundry!

We have a heatwave on the way for the next few days. 100°F plus they are saying.

So that makes me The King of Somewhere Hot!

Those of us working at the courthouse received yet another "bulletin" from our President Judge. As early as Monday, Nov 30 the Courthouse will be equipped with a full body thermal device which will record the body temp of all people entering the courthouse (whether from the public or employee). The protocol is in place to followup on anyone scoring more then 100 (degrees that is) :).

Saw daughter, her fiancee and soon to be bonus grandson last night...but no hugs. He won't be here for Christmas so we gave him his gifts last night. He loved them and I loved sitting across the table and playing board games with him!
We have one grandson who loves to play board games; the other grandson loves to play "outdoor" games :)

Because of the Thanksgiving weekend, we decided that neighbors "Happy Hour Friday" has been moved up to tonight.......heading two houses down. They normally have a good selection of beers so I am happy....... :pirate:

My daughter just sent me a picture of him and his dad building a bird house with the tool set we got him! My heart 💞. My oldest daughter has 5 kiddos and they all love board games!

This just in, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer has contracted Covid. Santa noticed when Rudolphs nose did not shine so bright. It is believed he caught it from Prancer who refused to wear a mask. Prancer said I do not conform to rules, the man can't tell me what to do. Santa was not available for comment since he was trying to get to the bar before curfew.

Hi there! It's a dreary, low light day in the norwoods but I'm on island time with paintings.

I need a break. My butt is sore from sitting on a stool to paint.

We are blessed to live in a safe, quiet area with good neighbors. One is a grease ball mechanic(think Dukes of Hazard) who checked out my Toyota today. The cruise control went out for the second time. He checked it out and found a sensor needed reset. If it goes bad again, he will replace it. I asked ,"What do I owe you?" "Nothing." he said. "I'll get you next time."

Life is good.

Late "hey, y'all"!

All prepped up for feast tomorrow. Submitted self-evaluation for year end performance review - I was diplomatically honest.

Thankful both those things are done.
