I'm on board. On the way back from the grocery store, I bought a bottle of rum. In this state we
have to do that as separate stores. I was
dangerously low on rum.
no wonder we got snow today

Total Wine sells wine, beer and, as they call it, spirits. I don't know if they do the same thing in all their stores or if it's just the law in South Carolina, but there's a separate entrance for the spirits part of the store and I think you can only buy wine and beer on Sunday, not likker.

I went to the liquor store about an hour ago. Picked up two cases of beer, 8 bottles of wine, and 3 bottles of rum. I was wearing a jacket, obligatory face mask, sunglasses, and a hat. The clerk asked for my ID (I'm 61), barely glanced at it; never looked up at me, and rang up my purchase. No way in hell I looked identifiable with my entire head and face covered anyway.
I thanked her and said
"Woohoo! Party back at the college dorms tonight!"
Covid-19 laws must be a great time to buy liquor if you are underage.
Or if you are a bank robber.

I wonder if there are any stats on increases in masked robberies during COVID?
Also, good news, Ken! And I'm in for dinner at Michi's.

Good evening! No bison or beers here.
Just waiting for E to get home from work.

A NOT nice 12 hour day.
I had an EMG test today. Zapping my nerves and making my feet and legs move without my asking them to. Then lots of little needles and more zapping. I'm sore as heck. From what the doc could tell preliminarily, I have some pretty extensive neuropathy in my feet and legs. Duh, I knew this, but it's nice to confirm.
Aaaaand I hear the door opening, so I'm off to hug him. No, it's not Santa, it's E!!!!!!!
And to Ken? GREAT news!!!
TTFN.

And this doesn't help:
As of now, the number of Americans have died of COVID is higher than the number of Americans who died in combat in World War 2.
Today, more Americans died of COVID than in died in Pearl Harbor.
Today, more Americans died of COVID than died on 9/11.
Stay safe my American friends.

Yikes Jamie
You are young to have it.
My Mother took that at one time too.
Neuropathy runs in Mother's side of the family. My Grandpa had it, my Mother, her sister, and 4 cousins. So far, I am the only one without it.
