Happy Friday Eve, peeps.

Who's been up to what?
Nothing. Sitting at firepit. Disappointed the northern lights reaching down to Jersey fizzled. Solar activity cycle starting up.

Hiya Nancy! I painted on a Pittsburgh skyline painting, had a great lunch out and did a few Christmas cards.
Do you get a lot of fog this time of year? I can imagine your walks could be in clammy conditions.

I ran out to look. We have some stars. That's it. I saw the northern lights up in Quebec. The entire sky lit up and seemed to dance. I understood why our ancestors were superstitious.

Meteor shower Sunday night. We have a good chance this far south in the next 7 years for the lights. It's not expected to be a big sunspot activity this cycle but you never know.

Our state is shutting down restaurants, bars, gyms, etc. for 3 weeks. All retail can be open, but small stores are taking a beating. I'm glad you're busy.

Monday 12/21 is when Jupiter and Saturn are aligned in the SW sky (as viewed from the NE) and extra bright, the "Christmas Star".

I'm pretty sure that my boss is going to have her best year ever since she bought the shop. Our hospitals, bank lobbies and the neighboring county office where Bryan works are closed to walk in customer's.

In this part of the country, you walk into any bar and ask for a "lager", you'll be served a Yuengling.
And if you go anywhere outside of this part of the country, say, New Joysie, and ask for a lager, they have no idea what youβre talking about and just look at you with a blank stare.

So to top off a pretty ordinary week, we're back in iso!
Mrs Rabz has been quite crook the last couple of weeks - the chronic fatigue has been really bad.
She went to the doctor, who couldn't really explain why, decides that to be safe Toni should get (another) covid test.
So until she gets the results we're back in isolation.
To be safe? My a$%e. To deflect away from she has no idea what the other test results mean, is more likely.
And the cupboards are quite bare and no shopping allowed, so I guess delivery food is on the cards...
Might get some lager delivered (to fit in with the theme).

Poor Toni -- can't imagine feeling like that for so long. Here's hoping someone can figure it out.

It's coming up to five years since the original virus that triggered the chronic fatigue. Medicine has absolutely no idea about chronic fatigue - zero, zilch, nada. No idea what triggers it, no idea how it works, no idea how to deal with it. Frustrating doesn't come close to describing it.
