Back to the vaccine... obviously, these first few shipments of the vaccine are going to be in limited supply and will need to be doled out to people who are either most crucial to things (think front-line medical care personnel, teachers, first responders, or certain other 'essential workers', whatever those might be) or people who are most likely to be at risk (think the elderly, people with pre-existing conditions that might make them more susceptible to the virus, or people in areas where the virus is running out of control).  If you are a young or middle-aged American in good health and not living in a virus hot-spot, you will probably be somewhere down toward the middle or end of the line.

But just for funsies, here's a website where you can input some information such as age, location, and whether or not you have Covid-related health issues and it will calculate approximately where you stand in the queue.

In my area, it calculated that I would probably be somewhere in the first 30% or so.

However, this is still too late for my good friend, who we lost at the beginning of this month.

Another overcast day. And 46°. Our weather girl early this morning was talking about wind chill. We don't usually have wind chill readings but we had had gusting winds recently. Wind chill was in the 30's! Brrr

Regarding the Covid vaccine train checking it behind the common 23 million. 673,700 in the great state of Michigan & 26,500 in my county.

Hi there! I drove an hour and 20 minutes to wade cold water in 37 degree air. The wind came up, the temperature dropped while it spit snow. Good times near the great lakes.
I was in a small sport shop and an older woman came in to pick up an order, hacking as she walked. I spun around and went to another aisle. After she left, the young clerk sprayed down everything she touched and brought me hand sanitizer.
