So, there has been a Covid outbreak near us in Sydney.
Of course there has.
We are supposed to jump on a plane early tomorrow.
Of course we are.
They are starting to close borders to travel again.
Of course they are.
We cannot catch a break.
I feel your pain....the lady that has symptoms who
potentially exposed my daughter and was tested on Monday still hasn't gotten any freaking results. My daughter was supposed to come home for Christmas with the grandkids on Saturday... so all of our plans are in limbo...I'm not happy

I'm having chicken breast. The low class hooker to the duck breast.

I've had lots of chicken boobies but I've never had a duck boobie.

I brought smoked duck breast to GW tailgate a few times, did you miss it? With spiced plum jam and spanish cheese on baguette slices.

Go by boat. It's a loophole. No borders on water.
They're awake to that. It'd be quite a trip, say the equivalent of North Carolina to Louisiana

Evening, peeps.
We got just over a foot of snow. Gone now, crisp starry skies. Everything is covered with white, and quiet and beautiful, especially with all the holiday lights and decorations. Some neighbors are going about on cross country skies in the streets.
Mr. Lime dealt with the snow blowing, I shovelled a bit in between work calls, and the dog was just hilariously joyful and romping around like a maniac, as expected. We'll get more play time in tomorrow, he likes to hide his toys in the drifts and then pretend he just found them.
Work is a beast. My boss is off for the rest of the month after tomorrow so trying to get things done for her. Just crazy busy all this week but should be much better after about high noon tomorrow.

I don't remember smoked duck breast. I would have passed on the jam, I don't like plums.
