Earlier today we had a power outage. About a half a block away a tree trimming company cut down a tree. In the wrong
direction. It caught on power lines. And brought down two wooden utility poles. 6 hours later Pennsylvania Power and Light
is still working on it.

It was officially 80° today. But a cold front is trying to blow through with the rain. Such strange weather.

The Rockets are not playing tonight. Not enough people to put on the floor. As much as I want to keep Hardin, he is such a disruption. Time to get rid of him.
Or maybe them should all move back to Orlando??

I'm home and off until Monday. 3 funerals on Monday and a wedding and funeral on Tuesday. Yee haw! Merry Christmas. We did over 400 deliveries since last Wednesday....over twice the amount from the same time period as last year. No wonder I'm tired.

You deserve some down time.
There was a florist in Pampa TX that when she died, she willed her shop to her employees. I don't know if it is still open???
Nope it is closed permanently.

That's how my boss bought the shop, the previous owner passed away and her husband had absolutely no idea how to run a flower shop, he closed the shop for about a month until my boss was able to make financial plans and bought the business. Our shop will be celebrating 100 years in business next year.

Happy Pfeffernusse Day!!!
My great Aunt Eleanor made Vanillekipferl - we just called them "horns". Very similar. Often dry - but we all still loved them.

Yesterday was 62. Today was 22. Winds were crazy, which makes it even more cold. Cameron's work apron was wet from working in the produce department. His 1/2 mile walk home? His apron was frozen.

Thanks so much Penny...I love making beautiful arrangements that bring smiles to people, especially during this time when sometimes our drivers may be the only person the recipient sees or talks to. But you and the people on the front lines are the true heroes... your work is so important!
