Guess we all have our own favorite types of foods.
We have used Rotel in recipes for years.
Anyone remember when someone (maybe Z?) gave us the taco soup recipe???
Ummmm
It is a standard in our household.
Penny, do you remember?

Our Dollar Trees (you know where everything, just for you -- is $1) sell Rotel. I remember when our PH friends from the great white north came down for our Parrotfest back in 20___ they saw a few cans in my pantry and were all over it !!! Apparently it's hard to find in Canada?SeattleParrotHead wrote: ↑January 11, 2021 6:44 pmRecipes & Boat Drinks: http://www.buffettnews.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=7SaltSaltSalt wrote: DIdn't BN have a "Recipe sharing" thread at some point?
I had to look up Ro-Tel, I don't think I've seen it in a store here.
"Ro-Tel (stylized as Ro★Tel) is the brand name of a line of canned tomatoes and green chili. There are different varieties of Ro-Tel in varying degrees of hotness and spiciness. The brand was acquired by ConAgra Foods in 2000 from International Home Foods. Ro-Tel gets its name from its inventor, Carl Roettele, who started a family canning company in Elsa, Texas, in the 1940s. It is commonly used in making chile con queso, particularly with Velveeta."
