Done with chores for today, more can be done tomorrow. Having a margarita (I know you are super surprised by that

)
Tomorrow I have to brush the big dogs, wash their beds and spruce up the upstairs.
Starting the count down till the kids arrive on Thursday and the clock is ticking on the wedding. By this time next Saturday, my baby girl will be a married woman and a bonus mom.
We also plan to celebrate Christmas with the grandkids while they are here. They'll be staying through Tuesday morning which is the oldest granddaughter's birthday. She has requested Pancakes, sausage and eggs for her birthday breakfast, and she shall have it!

In this area we have above ground power lines. (Yes, given how 'leafy' the area is it's quite dumb).
Yesterday I noticed that a couple of trees had grown right through and over the power lines that come to our house. So I whipped out the chainsaw and dropped a bunch of limbs. Pleasingly I brought down neither the power or telephone cables!
There were a very large number of tall branches that had to be cleared - doubled by the need to do the same to the trees in our next door neighbours place.
Less pleasing is that I am now four hours into chipping the branches with a woodchipper - with about two more hours to go. The gardens will get a good cover of mulch!

And good evening from the PandE residence.
Was a productive day.
Took down the Christmas tree, and packed up all the few/small decorations.
Unloaded and loaded the dishwasher.
Did three loads of laundry. Hung/folded/put away most of it.
Ran the vacuum cleaner. Vacuumed ceiling fans. Rearranged a few pieces of small furniture.
E grilled steaks - I added fries and a salad for dinner. Then Key Lime pie for dessert. (Most of this came from Kansas City Steak company, and was really good).
Now it's finally time to unwind. Watching one of my favorite older cooking show, "Iron Chef America".
Sleep sweet - I'll be there soon.
