I didn't see this story on the news, for which I will be forever grateful.
It sort of reminds me of a Long Island Railroad story I read in the newspaper about 15-20 years ago. A married couple and the husband's brother had gone into New York City for a night on the town. They were going home on the train at about 2:00am and the conductor had the police meet the train at the station to have them arrested, they were having a threeway on the train. Their lawyer tried to spin the story by saying they were responsible citizens for taking the train home because they were drunk and shouldn't have been driving.
I really like my brothers. But not THAT much.

But it sure would make yet another interesting Kambic family story !

Hey Linda,
Yes, I have been MIA since 2017! It seems like I never see friends' posts on FB, just ads these days. I have scroll forever to find PHriends postings, so decided to check back into the place where it all started.
I'll add to Linda's 'welcome back'!
I don't do FB so you'll never see my posts there

Well after our 5 or 6 days of 100°F + weather, we've now had a few days of mizzle - somewhere between mist and drizzle. Blerk.
I awoke early this morning, well, I say awoke but there was some serious prompting by one of the cats. I looked out and it was still mizzling. I checked the radar and there wasn't much actual rain around and it's been a few days since I got any exercise, so I wandered out to the garage, hoisted on the backpack and took off for a hour or so up and down the hills around here on some fire trails.
It was very moody and dark in the valleys and there was a nice breeze at the tops of the hills. It was actually quite nice, although I was soaked to the skin because of the mist and the 100% humidity meant I was sweating, a lot.
Back at home, I showered, cleaned the kitchen and made the coffees.
What's for breakfast?

Good Morning All!
it sure is nice to see some long ago MSC patrons around these parts lately.
It's the last Friday of January - wow ! That seems to have gone pretty darn quickly.

Ohhhhh -- it's a thing -- but pretty much a bad, useless, thing....but sometimes it's the easiest way to communicate with large groups of people for special events.

Got fresh new windshield wipers today. Getting ready to load the atv in the back of the truck as it's only 2 wheel drive...NO comments needed. My next vehicle will be 4 or all wheel drive, but this gets me back & forth to work

Good afternoon BNers. Mid 60's here, sitting in the sun enjoying a rum drink listening to Flip Side. Life is good and summer is one day closer.

Hi there! I'm waiting for paint to dry so I can add more layers. The first layer picks up the pencil graphite and makes light colors yucky grey.
Rabz, with climate change, we have new term- snain, snow rain mix.
I had 2 trucks with 2 wheel drive and never got stuck. I did watch where I drove and where I pulled off, though. I used to hunt coyotes and every 4x4 truck had a tow rope. Our hilly back roads are gravel and turn to ice when packed down. Several times, while towing one truck out of a ditch, the other truck slid into the ditch on the other side of the road, Anne's Rav has snow mode which seems pretty stable.

Wow, coyote hunting! We have heard a pack of coyotes very close by some evenings. Very unsettling when it sounds like they have their prey cornered....then the eerie silence that follows is chilling. Makes your hair stand on end.... and I don't even have hair
