Afternoon BNers
This is starting to be a weird day.
About 4 am the tv/cable went off. Yes, I was still awake and watching say yes to the dress. I reset the cable...nothing. Tried my phone and no internet either. I could play some games so I killed a few hours until the sun came up.
Still no internet this morning. Larry made an appt tomorrow morning. Ugh.
Luckily he has Spectrum for racing season so we have internet but no tv.
It sure is quiet without tv....
.
Thatโs usually when we break out our โspecial editionโ turntable scrabble game. Which we may do soon since it looks liKe no one is going anywhere around here tomorrow. If the County calls a snow day we wonโt have to work from home. YIPPEE. Stay tuned.

We tried playing the card game UNO by oil lamp one bitter cold night when the power was out. We had to quit. We couldn't tell the color on the cards in the dim light.

Sopranos was perfect in every way. Being from NJ I appreciated the authenticity. I just read somewhere that Drea DiMatteo, who played Adriana, spent 4 hours in makeup to get in character.
Keep an eye out for the new films David Chase is putting out in the fall, it's described as a Sopranos prequel: The Many Saints of Newark, starring James Gandolfini's son Michael.

When I lived on Long Island, I didn't have a TV for about 4 years. When I still had a job I didn't really care because other than sleeping I was hardly home.

Bryan says there are about 6 deer in the ravine in front of the house, 2 are bucks and they are fighting!

The Carolina Hurricanes game started at 5:00 but I was watching the last episode of season 2 of The Sopranos so I set the DVR to record the hockey game. I'm watching it now, I think it's

I'm going to shovel once tonight, this way the 40 mph winds can just blow it back.

Nothing to fight about. The rut is long over. Maybe they just don't like each other.
This big storm has completely missed us so far.

Freaking neighbor parks his car up to my driveway so the plow can't get it. I'm shoveling all 14 inches onto his hood. Jerkoff

He said that there was an older bigger buck trying to run off the younger smaller one. And after more action there were actually 8 down in the ravine....

We have light snow fall at the moment. It's supposed to get heavier in a few hours.

Being a Register Bridal Consultant, I am amazed how the families acts. We never had that problem. We did have one father that wanted his gaughter "to show more neck." This was during the long sleeves and high neck days.

. Only once did we sell a dress over $1000. Different tunes.

We just finished the last of the 3 movies I got from the library on Thursday. First was a fireproof with Kirk Cameron. One of his faith-based movies. The 2nd was Green Book.. very good. Just finished Hologram for a King with Tom Hanks. Different is the best way to describe that one.
